My new budgie... i need some help?

you can try to offer him some peice of a millet spray,they love that. And the most important thing to taming them to bond to you [from my experience with my budgie] is talk to them! leave the radio on low sometimes so they can talk and be happy. And talk to him. If you want him to talk then keep repeating a word over and over again. Soon he will prob say it! every day when you take him out of his cage and let him roam around sit down and offer him millet spray and talk to him. Do this every day and you will have a happy budgie that trusts you and might even learn to talk. Just try to grap him as little as possible and dont make loud noises. Talk to him in a nice quiet voice. Give him treats every day including healthy treats like apples and lettuce. and sometims just leave your hand in his cage with a treat on it so that he begins to like and trust you.find out wherehe likes to be stroked. my budgie hates to be pet on the back but loves being pet on the stomach and head...soon He will become very attatched to you. good luck (:
