Can u help me with my nile lizard?

i just brought a lizard from reptile shop. its a year and a bit old, about 20cm long, got told it should eat every day, locust about 2 a day. and i was told its a nile lizard. been lookin it up on internet and it says only about nile monitor lizard, they grow to 3metres and are angry reptiles. this doesnt look like the 1 i have
