Is this normal when you have a cold??

Okay, well I've had a cold for a couple weeks. It seems to have ped, I'm not blowing my nose, my throat doesn't hurt, etc. However every morning since I've had the cold, and this is still happening now, my throat is sort of croaking. Only for a few minutes in the morning, maybe a litle bit during the day but only on and off. Is this normal, or is it a sign of something worse, like bronchitis?
