If the universe started as a point, how can it be said it has no edge?

picture andromeda galaxy and the milky-way galaxy side by side and just the bending of space-time that gives the appearance of distance-now the distance is getting shorter so the warp in space is being minimized,why the m is not getting less on the two galaxies but the space warp from other galaxies flying away from us is pulling on space like a rubber band,this is why a galaxy looks like its on a plain ,the geodetic effect is being stretched,now as two galaxies get closer together the attraction increases so the the warp is sped up-so the universe is not expanding into a edge of nothingness its playing tug -a-war with what it has already
